Can you help me find a toy train engine for my son?
I want to by my son a train car for each birthday. Since it is his 1st birthday coming up I am going to buy him the engine. I know nothing about trains or what type most boys like. I know I want the standard size and would like to get something decent (if possible) for under $300. I don’t even know if I should go with a steam engine or diesel. There are no train stores anywhere remotely close to me so I need to buy this online. I know that I want Lionel brand and do not want Thomas the Train. Can anyone help me? Please include links if possible, if not all help is appreciated anyway. Thanks.
e bay has a vast selection.
also many towns have train stores for hobbyists.
Even in LAs VEgas, they have one it is near the airport.
I would check my yellow pages for trains and toys, models.
